This tool is designed to give a calm, rough guide, not a verdict on your parenting. It looks only at Roblox spending from your answers, not everything your child does or enjoys.

Roblox spending snapshot

Estimated spend per month

£15.00

That’s around £180.00 per year.

For this age

Typical

Opinionated guidance, not a hard rule.

Approx spend per hour of play

£0.44

Based on roughly 34.4 hours of Roblox per month.

Very rough Robux equivalent

1,201 R$

Using a simple 800 Robux ≈ 9.99 conversion for context only.

This falls inside a rough ‘typical’ range for this age group. It’s still a good idea to agree boundaries together, but nothing here looks obviously extreme on its own.

Context matters too: a child who plays a lot but spends a controlled amount can be in a healthier place than a child who spends heavily in short, pressured bursts. This tool is a starting point for a conversation, not a judgement.

How this works

This estimator uses your answers to build a simple picture of Roblox spending for one child: their age, average monthly spend, and hours played per week.

yearly_spend = monthly_spend × 12 hours_per_month ≈ hours_per_week × 4.3 spend_per_hour = monthly_spend ÷ hours_per_month

To decide whether something looks low, typical, or high, the tool compares your monthly spend to a rough baseline for that age band and nudges it up a little if your child has Roblox Premium. It then maps that ratio into bands from very low through to very high.

These bands are opinionated guidance only. They are not official Roblox numbers and they don't know your family's income, values, or your child's specific needs. Use them as a calm starting point, and combine them with your own judgement and conversation with your child.
